Our Journey & Commitment
Established in 2012, Tarakeswar Green Mates is a non-profit organization deeply committed to the cause of nature, wildlife, science, and culture in West Bengal. We believe, as David Attenborough said, "We often talk of saving the planet, but the truth is that we must do these things to save ourselves."
Registered under the Societies Registration Act 1961 (Reg No: SO205630), our primary focus involves environmental awareness programs, crucial wildlife rescue operations, conservation initiatives, and vital social welfare activities aimed at uplifting communities.
We operate through collaboration, working closely with the Forest Department, law enforcement, government authorities, wildlife experts, environmentalists, and most importantly, the local communities whose participation is key to sustainable change.
